Certifications

Possession of relevant commercial diving certifications, including but not limited to ADCI or equivalent.

Experience

Proven experience in marine diamond diving operations, demonstrating expertise in extracting alluvial diamonds from challenging underwater environments.

A paramount commitment to safety protocols and practices, ensuring a secure working environment for yourself and the team.

Adaptability

Ability to adapt to dynamic marine conditions and work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.

Recruitment Process

Our Fleet

MW Northern Star

This is a 40ft Sachal hull, powered by an inboard 6 cylinder Cummins engine. Additionally it is equipped with an 11 Kw Generator to provide 220V power. The vessel’s Safety Certificate allows for a maximum of 6 crew. A 4,7m Gemini rubber duck equipped with a 40 HP Yamaha motor serves as the vessel’s tender and emergency craft. Additionally there is a 6 man Liferaft also installed.

We utilize a single 8” dredging pipe, consisting out of 2x30m length pipes and a 16m long flexi. The gravel is screened to 23mm at the classifier.

Diving operations are carried out using full face AGA masks with two-way communication, bailout bottle secured by Northern diver R-vest harnesses and a 50 litre, 200bar backup HP air as redundancy.

There are 2x50m umbilicals and 1x100m umbilical for prospecting and shallower water.
